You are being “Forged”…

Does the amount of obstacles we face determine our success?

Do we need obstacles to grow?

We all want it, wish for it; a life without obstacles.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to live life without chaos, heartaches, trials, and difficulties but a life of faith, faith that moves mountains, comes at a cost.

Are we willing to pay the cost?

I want our kids well-behaved, my marriage a breeze, the finances bountiful and things to come easy. I also want to live out every one of God’s promises. I don’t want to fight. I don’t want to struggle. I don’t want to feel the pressure that turns coals into diamonds.IMG_firefist-1

However, a just man FALLS seven times and gets back up again (Proverb 24:16). It sounds like God knew life was going to trip us up. The Father knew that this life would come with many falls, disappointments, heartaches, and difficulties so He left us with a source of encouragement. “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world (John 16:33).

What does that mean to us?

No matter what circumstances we are currently facing, no matter how overwhelming the pain, there is HOPE!

Keep getting back up!

Every time you get up, you become stronger, wiser, more insightful, and more equipped for the next round because God cares more about developing your character than eliminating the pain. The process exposes your heart and invites you to sit at the Father’s table… thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies, though anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. (Psalm 23)

You don’t walk in that type of anointing and assurance of your Father without the pain of being in the valley of the shadow of death. That trust of your Daddy-God’s nature, the assurance, the goodness and mercy that follows you is revealed in pain, suffering, difficulty, the “wilderness of our circumstances”,  and those times when we have no other choice BUT to Trust Him.  It’s in those moments when you are alone, and you have to slay the lion and the bear, that you gain confidence in God’s ability to slay your Goliath’s.

Keep getting up.

One step at a time.

One day at a time.

Keep getting up.

You are Being Forged By Fire!

“When your progress isn’t obvious and you are in your lane watching everyone fly by, or you feel cornered with no options, your only way out is to TRUST GOD”, and God says “I’ve got you right where I want you” (Steven Furtick). Digging into Me, seeking Me, and tuning into My frequency, frequently. You must learn to hear, yield, and obey the ONLY voice that really matters, despite what’s popular or logical. It is in this season of isolation that we learn to recognize the voice of our Father-it’s training for the mountaintop. In order to reign on the mountaintop with character and humility and avoid stifling your light, we have to be pruned. We have to develop good character; the character of Christ to be exact. We have to know our frailty, our sinful nature, and our NEED for God.

God has a plan and uses everything in our lives for His purpose. Nothing is wasted! No pain, no hurt, no difficulty, no storm, no dilemma, no MISTAKE has escaped from the Father’s grasp. He uses EVERYTHING!! Bottom line, your Pain has a Purpose.

Our Heavenly Father is dependable, gracious and ALWAYS faithful!
